Meli projects are developed in partnership with local Education and Research Institutes, supporting the creation of scientific knowledge by Amazônidas (people of the Amazon region).
The rural and traditional communities involved with Meli build a strong relationship with the Federal Research and Education Institutes present in the region.
This cooperation allows:
– A successful monitoring of the meliponiculture activities in accordance to the best scientific and technical standards), securing the good development of the bees.
– Develop top-notch entomology and palynology research with Amazonian bees species.
